Last Tuesday (7), the winners of the seventh edition of the Technical-Scientific Papers Award were announced in a live broadcast on Codeplan’s YouTube channel (Companhia de Planejamento do Distrito Federal). In all, 17 works were submitted, of which five were selected, four of them awarded and one honored as an honorable mention.
The winner of first place was the study by the collective authorship of Camila Aida Campos, Alan Mosele Tonin and José Francisco Gonçalves Júnior entitled “Development of a Health Assessment System in Riachos do Cerrado – Case Study in the Distrito Federal and Surroundings”. The authors are researchers from TWRA, and the work suggests a method to be incorporated by public policies that deal with the verification of the adequacy of the conditions of the streams according to their characteristics.
Created in 2015, the Codeplan Award aims to encourage research on economic development, social, urban and environmental policies aimed at the Federal Capital and/or the Integrated Development Network for the Distrito Federal and Metropolitan Area of Brasília. It is currently in its seventh edition under the general theme “Development of the DF, RIDE and the AMB”, with support from Sesi and Senai DF.
